So yesterday was my first day at Jamba! I still can't believe how old I am. Seems like just yesterday I was starting 7th grade without a clue in the world. Hahaha anyway I got there at like 3:38 and sat in my car for about ten minutes. I didn't want to be late so I left wicked early :P
Thankfully Elise and our friend Ashley were both working so they pulled me in to the back to meet everyone and Emily (the boss) gave me a bunch of stuff to fill out. She was so nice and very patient with me. But neither of us wanted to do my tax stuff wrong. Haha :)
Then she gave me my uniform and took me on a tour of the store. It's so cute and it smells delicious! She talked me a lot...most of which I don't remember...so thankfully she said, "You'll get it all soon don't worry." so I just smiled. What I do best! ;)
Then she gave me the bible aka training manuel and told me to read the raspberry section. It was very informative and it took me forever to read but eventually Kathy quizzed me and I got them all right! Ten points to Griffendor! (Excuse the Harry Potter reference)
Emily and Ashley left so there was only me, Elise, Kathy, and Austin in the store. Elise came over and told me she'd teach me how to wash dishes! So we went over to the giant sink and I washed some stuff :) We cleaned out the orange juicer thing and I learned where a lot of stuff is.
Elise asked me if I wanted to make a smoothie and I was like heck yeah! She's been helping me memorize the classic recipes so I have a few under my belt :) I made a strawberries wild and it was delish if I do say so myself :) she showed me how to pour and then I put my smoothie in the fridge :)
For the rest of the night I continued to make every strawberries wild that came through and even a few others :) I'm not sure how many people make smoothies on their first day... But the numbers have got to be few. Haha so needless to say I felt awesome.
I love how everyone there works as a team. They are all so nice and willing to help you with anything. They work in an assembly line of some sort and communicate quite well. I sure did pick a great place to work :)
I was supposed to get off at 8 but stayed a little longer because it was SO MUCH FUN. I mean come on who doesn't love having a singing and dancing party every five minutes? Exactly.
Anyway it was just super awesome and I hope I can get through training fast and actually start being helpful. I'm still really slow but it will come :) I can't wait until I'm as good as Elise. She's a spectacular teacher :)
Until next time!

Home Sweet Home
So I've been on vacation for the past week or so. (That's how I'm going to justify my serious lack of blog posts... :) ) My family and I went on a cruise to celebrate my parent's 30th anniversary and my sister and brother-in-law's 8th. It was super rad! I can't wait until I get the energy to blog about it! haha tomorrow maybe... when I'm not at school or doing homework or STARTING MY FIRST DAY OF WORK! Yep. That's right. I start at Jamba tomorrow and I'm flipping NERVOUS! Luckily one of my best friends also works there and she's been talking with me about it and helping me realize that everything is going to be just fine. :) Aside from the nerves I'm pretty excited! I can't believe it's taken me this long to finally be brave enough to get a job but I did it and I'm super proud! hahaha :) Elise has been giving me a head start on memorizing recipes and whatnot. She's the best I tell you! We had a nice long chat today while we were delivering things to some girls in the ward. We talked about how we've been friends for so long and how we have managed to get over dumb things and realize that friendship is worth more than a little fight.
We have been neighbors since we were 8 years old. The first time I ever saw her I knew she'd be my best friend. She walked into primary wearing a pretty white dress and the presidency introduced her and we sang the hello song. I couldn't stop staring at her. I just felt like wow... I want to get to know that girl! I felt like such a creep but I couldn't ignore the feeling I had. I knew she would be an important part of my life.
The first time we ever played together we had a blast. We made up these ridiculous stories about how her room was haunted and we would hide in the closet and then come back out to see if anything in her room had moved. Of course they never did, unless one of us secretly moved them before going back into the closet. It was the DUMBEST game on the planet but it was so great. We laughed and talked and hung out every single day for the rest of forever. She's always been the person that I could talk to about anything. We'd have sleepovers and talk in funny voices and eat bricks of raw ramen. She always understood me. We could communicate without even speaking to each other. We walked to school, played barbies, and laughed together every single day. The whole school knew we were besties. I always had someone to sit by at church and her family was so sweet to me. Elise is someone who I can't imagine growing up without. She is one of the few people aside from my family who has ever seen me REALLY cry. We've been through everything together... and I mean everything! hahaha.
Middle school was an interesting time but we stayed friends through the whole thing. We fought a lot more and didn't speak for days at a time but we always had that same connection. She was that person that I couldn't stay mad at very long because I had important things to tell her. :) Sophomore year came and we still hung out every now and then but I was in band and she had Emery. We were still able to get together and chat and be silly like always. That's when I started to realize that she was more than just a convenient friend for me. If I had to TRY to make time to see her, it would prove that she meant something to me and that I wanted to keep our relationship alive. Well I guess it worked. :)
Nowdays we're still best friends. I can't think of anyone who knows me better than she does. We still have that really great friendship we've always had...it's just different now. Our lives consist of real problems and challenges that we talk each other through. Sometimes I wish we could go back to when we were 8 and the only thing that mattered is what our barbies were wearing. Now we're being faced with college and money and relationships and all kinds of weird grown up things. She's still right there with me though. Talking to her today made me realize that even if she's living in Orem and I'm still here, even if we never ever get to see each other, even if I move to Ohio, she'll still be there for me. She'll still text me funny memories or want to get together and hang out. She's one of the few people I think I will be able to stay close to after high school. And even if I'm wrong, I'm very thankful for the friendship we've had. 10 years is a long time to know someone and still be able to get along with them. We're so alike but yet so different. I think we balance each other out quite nicely :) We've grown up together and I know she's been a good influence on me. I'm thankful to have had such a quality friend to confide in my whole life.
Thanks Elise for being a pal and always letting me eat your food and pet your dog. :) I wish you the best in your life ahead and I hope that I'll always be a part of it. :)
Well, that wasn't where I thought this post was going to go... but hey, it's my blog. And these are the kinds of things I want to remember. I want to look back one day and think aw yeah! she's so cool! haha :)
Have an excellent day!

Kolby's 20th Birthday
On Friday my best friend turned 20. He's so old :P
We went to dinner with his parents at Panda Express and had a nice time :) Then we went back to his house and watched Undercover Boss and his mother made cake!
At 1:00 we were finally home and I was so beyond ready for bed! Kolby and I talked for a bit and I wished him a very happy birthday :) It was so nice of him to spend his night doing something super lame with me. But it turned out to be a lot of fun and I really appreciate his help :)
Basically, my life is awesome.
:)
We went to dinner with his parents at Panda Express and had a nice time :) Then we went back to his house and watched Undercover Boss and his mother made cake!
She let me frost it :)
Then we sang to him!
About four different times.
:)
Well anyway the cake was yummy. (duh).
So after that it was like 9 and it was time to head to the beloved ghetto laundromat to wash paint smocks. I know, I can hardly believe it's already time to participate in that wonderful chore again...but it is. (Click here for a reminder of last time's adventure!) So Kolby and I headed to my house to get in my car and begin the journey of paint-smock-washin!
He bit his nails and shuddered as I drove us to the laundromat. (I'm not even that bad at driving? I only almost killed us twice the whole night!) I knew where it was but I second guessed myself and we were lost for just a moment. We safely arrived at about 9:20 and were greeted by a very nice looking lady! (Not really. She was asleep in a chair but completely harmless.) We hauled in all the black garbage bags and soap and whatnot and set up camp. Thankfully the cheap washers weren't being used so that was nice. We lined up all the bags and began to wash! Kolby was a great little helper! He put the quarters in while I stuffed smocks in the washers.
From the eyes of K. B. Walthall
I heart those $1.75 washers <3
"Are you sure you are supposed to do it like that?" "No but it works so don't judge."
hahahaha
To my very great dismay, the dryers are no longer free on Fridays ):
So I began to panic as I tried to calculate how much money it would take to wash and dry all of the loads. I had $20 worth of quarters but I knew that wouldn't be enough and I had no idea how long it would take to dry everything... So Kolby ran over to Smith's and got us some more quarters so that I could calm down. I sure do love that kid <3 hahaha mostly because I was super afraid when he left... Being somewhere like that alone at night is so flippin scary. I'm glad he came with me so I didn't have to endure that night alone!
My wallet housed roughly 100 different quarters that night. I wish I could have taken a picture of them all. But here are some of them :)
After we got the system down it was pretty easy. We make a lovely team :) We talked and laughed and took pictures. We were there alone for most of the night. Only a few people came in. (I guess no one thinks doing laundry is a very fun Friday night activity?) We had fun trying to figure out the gender of some of the folks. "From this side, he looks like a guy. From the other, he looks like a girl. I just can't figure it out." haha.... terrible....
Just waiting for stuff to dry...
:)
This is how we felt when we found out the dryers aren't free.
>:/
We got tired... hahaha
Poor kid was so beat... ):
When we were finally done it was after midnight. We took everything out to my car and Kolby looked funny :)
"Can I take a picture or are you going to die?" "Take a picture. I want to remember this!"
We drove back to my house and picked my mom up so we could take the stuff back to her school. That place is ultra creepy at night. I basically ran down the halls in order to avoid the killers lurking in every dark corner. At 1:00 we were finally home and I was so beyond ready for bed! Taco Bell
Sometimes my friends and I have nothing to do at 11 p.m.
So we go to Taco Bell.
Unfortunately, Taco Bell's store isn't open at that hour.
So then we have to go through the drive thru.
(But that's okay because Doritos tacos are delicious and worth every bit of effort it takes to obtain one.)
Then we hang out in the parking lot and run around like children do.
It's quite fun. :)
YOLO.
DFTBA.

Independent Music Study
Is such a productive class! Not. I mostly just nap or play with my iPod but today I decided to be good and practice our Region Symphonic Band pieces. :)
Thanks to the wonderful invention of YouTube, I can listen to recordings of our songs and play WITH them. It's like having a whole ensemble to play whatever I want whenever I want. Pretty nifty if I do say so myself :)
I love playing my clarinet. It makes me feel like a boss. I think the hardest part about practicing is actually getting out and putting together my clarinet.... But once that's done, I thoroughly enjoy it!
Music makes me a happy kid! I'm very thankful to have it in my life :)

Jr. Prom
Saturday March 10, 2012 was Prom. It was so much fun :) Josh Simpson asked me a really long time ago with a 24 pack of Mountain Dew, so of course I said yes! He's a great kid and I'm glad he listened when I said that I wanted to go to a dance with him this year ;) haha
We spent the day having more fun than I've ever had in a whole week! We started out with smoothies at Geoff's house with 9 couples! We played pool and enjoyed chatting and sippin' fruit smoothies.
After our time was up at Noah's we headed home to get ready. I was ecstatic that I had been having such a fun day and now it was time to get all pretty and put my dress on! My wonderful sister came over to help out :) It took us a while to figure out what to do with my hair...it didn't turn out as well as I had hoped but hey, it worked. So then Josh came to get me again and we exchanged flowers and took pictures :)
We then headed over to pick up Hannah and Josh and I talked in the car about life :) He's such a great kid! I'm glad I got to go to Prom with one of my really good friends. He made it so easy and comfortable and it was just rad!
When Geoff and Hannah came out we were like awww and headed to Jorgen's. Because we were taking a LIMO to prom. Yep. It really was such a great date :)
We drove to The Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner. I was so excited because I've only been out to eat at an actual restaurant for a dance one time. So it was kinda fun to have everyone staring and telling us how nice we all looked. :) We had reservations so it didn't take long to get in. But of course, there was a giant mirror so we had to take some pictures ;)

After we partied a bit we headed to Noah's. That place was so cool! We had our own little party room equip with everything we could ever need to have fun! Josh and I played wii while others played volleyball, ping-pong, more pool, and other games. We at delicious sandwiches and I talked to my girlfriends and ate chips! Then we all got together and played a super fun game called Wear wolf. We all sat in a big circle and had to close our eyes wile we played basically a murder mystery game. It was the best :)

It took the better part of forever to eat dinner but it was lots of fun and super yummy! We had to sit diagonally from our dates so I was across from Jay and it was pretty entertaining. :)

When we were finally done eating we headed to the Capitol! Emery and I spent the whole right talking and laughing :) She's my best friend's best friend. haha so naturally, I know a lot about her but haven't ever really spent time alone with her. We used to have science together in 9th grade before her and Elise were friends so we've known each other for a while but haven't really talked. Anyway it was super fun! She's HILARIOUS. She pretty much had me dying of laughter and she helped me out with a few things. :) I'm really glad she ended up being in my group. I was worried I'd be with a bunch of girls that I was friends with who weren't friends with each other and I'd be caught in the middle, but it ended up just fine :) and all the boys got along too...but that's just what boys do ;)
We waited in line for forever to take pictures :l but they played a slow song and Josh and I danced in line :) Everyone was staring at us but it was cute. I'm glad my date was so sweet :)
We danced in our big group and it was so fun! Since all the songs they play are nearly impossible to dance to, we just made up our own crazy moves and laughed a lot! After a while Emery and I were getting tired so we went for a walk to see the Capitol :) We found some cute little water bottles and they were instantly our best friends!

When we were literally exhausted, Jorgen called the limo guy and we walked out and got picked up. It was so nice to not have to walk 2304983059384 miles to the car after being at the dance for so long. I'm so glad we had that limo!
We got in and drove around downtown for a while. We saw the Salt Lake Temple and admired it and had a nice talk about how amazing the Church is. I'm glad I have good LDS friends who will discuss such things on a date. :) I love them.
We got back to Jorgen's and then drove our own cars back to Geoff's house. It was sad to say goodbye to the pretty limo but I was also happy knowing I'd get to take my dress off soon!
We got to Geoff's and most of us changed and we hung out and ate ice cream and played some more Wear wolf. People started leaving and eventually it was 12:45 and pretty much everyone went home except for Josh, Hannah, and I. We put in a movie and chilled with Geremy and Geoff. I played all my people back on Draw Something and then decided it was time to go home. It was daylight savings which meant it was basically almost 3. And I had church at 9:30 that morning :P So we packed up and went home. Josh walked me to my door cause he's so nice and I thanked him for a fun day/night :) It really was so much fun. I felt like such a princess and I loved our big group! I'm glad I could spend some one-on-one time with Emery and get to know everyone better. :)
I got in bed and watched my clock change from 1:59 to 3:00. It freaked me out but I took a screen shot on my ipod anyway. Just cause I wanted to remember it :)

| I still can't believe I didn't get in trouble for being out so late :P |
What a fun day :) I'll always remember it. Thanks Josh!

Dear Boys Part 3
Here we go again.... :)
Dear Convenient,
Honestly, you aren't fooling anyone. Stop trying to act like you don't care. We all know you do.
Sincerely, Still Not Interested
Dear Picklzz,
I wish you would text me back. I feel like you don't even care about me anymore. It's weird not being able to talk to you all day long. I wish you were at least doing something important :/
Sincerely, Be My Prince
Dear Boy,
Thanks for teaching me to never get excited for anything. Ever. Thanks for teaching me how to cry and scream and hate you but still have a place for you in my heart. You are the reason I don't even feel welcome in my own "home". You honestly make me feel so unwanted. You've lied to me time and time again and it makes me so mad. At least this time I saw it coming and didn't believe you. Sometimes I have a hard time thinking about what we once had. How perfect our friendship was. But you never cared about me when your stupid friends were around. You left me completely alone when all I wanted was a little comfort. I wanted to hit you that night. Punch you so hard that you'd understand how much you've hurt me. But I didn't because for some reason I loved you. And probably still do. I guess I'm just mad at myself for never saying any of this to you. Maybe because the truth is, I don't even mean any of it. And I would probably take you back tomorrow because I'm weak. Stop being everything to me when I mean nothing to you. I respect our past, you don't even acknowledge it. Sucks hardcore.
Sincerely, Girl
Dear Elder,

Thanks for reading!
SemCo! SemCo! Party Time- Excellent!
I love Wayne's World. hahahahahaha. Best movie ever. :)
Anyway, last night we had a little Seminary Council get together at Derek's house. His parents were so nice to let us all come over! It was a little quiet and weird at first when we were waiting for everyone to get there. But, soon enough we were all having so much fun! It was literally the most fun I have ever had ever. :) Now for a random recap of the night....
*Note: these are in no specific order. Just things I can remember. :)

They make my life so interesting. :) We're all so different it's amazing we can even work together... but, we have one thing in common- we love to serve the kids of Copper Hills Seminary. It's incredible how close we've become this year. I think that's one of the things I'll miss most about high school... all those kids mean the world to me. I'm just very thankful to have been placed in this calling to serve with such awesome people. :)
And now it is time for my sister's birthday party.
I. Am. So. Excited.
:)
And this made me laugh. So enjoy :)

Leap Year!
Since this day happens only once every four years, I figured I should document it. :)
And I feel it necessary to post random pictures throughout the post, starting with this picture of why I should just be thankful I'm not a rhino.
Today was pretty much the most regular day of my life.
I woke up, took a shower, drove to school, parked at the back of the parking lot because I always get there 5 minutes before class starts, went to foods and learned about etiquette, went to paws and literally sat there for 35 minutes, went to the band room and ran errands for Simpson, played Temple Run and dominated my high score, went to Spanish and created a wicked hard word search (because I'm evil) of some random verbs, ate chicken, went back to Spanish and wrote 25 sentences in different tenses (you know, like...times?) (is tenses even a word?), went to sewing and cut out the pattern pieces for my dress while chatting with Elise, came home and cleaned up the kitchen, made dinner, watched some TV, and I am now blogging.
WOO.
I'm pretty excited that tomorrow is "Friday". We don't have school on the for real Friday because of parent teacher conferences. muahahaha! So I'm doing NOTHING that day to prepare for the busy week ahead of me!
I'm excited for my sister's birthday party! We're going to see The Lorax because it looks like it is going to be fantastic. And Dr. Seuss is my favorite. Ever.
Um.
I have to attend Region Solo and Ensemble on Tuesday night. *shoots self*
I honestly hate solo and ensemble so much. Our clarinet choir went to state last year and it was rad! But this year I just don't have the time and dedication that I need to get pumped about it. Plus our song is super difficult and we suck at playing it. It's not like we'll get a good enough score to move on to state anyway. Oh, and Krisitanna is getting her wisdom teeth out tomorrow so she won't even be able to go and play with us. Doing band-related stuff without her sucks. At least I have Katie though. :)
In other news, our basketball team went to state and ALMOST won their game. The refs like to make little children cry so they were being stupid and we lost. But the game was a lot of fun :) Coach Smith specifically invited the band to come and play and support the team, that was pretty cool. So like 60 of us went and stood in an arc and played super great. I guess I'll never, ever know what it's like to go to a high school sporting event as a regular student. Oh well. Committing my life to band was the best decision I could have ever made. :)
Weirdest thing about that game was being in the Maverick Center. Next time I go there I'm graduating. Only 91 more days. Holy. Cow. We're picking up our caps and gowns and whatnot tomorrow and I'm freaking out. I don't know how I feel about this yet. I know that I'm super excited to be done with school but college is going to be hard. I think hard is an understatement. Sure, people say it's fun...but I don't know if I'm ready for it. I don't feel like I need to be grown up yet. I'm still just a kid...obviously.
Um.
I'm out of pictures so I guess that means I have to stop talking now... :)
Thanks for reading! I hope you have a really great day! I'm sure I won't ;)
Oh! Fun fact about myself: as much as I love music, I adore silence. I hardly ever listen to the radio when I drive, clean, do homework, whatever! I find music to be very distracting...hahah. I always care more about what I'm listening to than what I'm doing. Which results in some safety issues. So to you people who have your headphones in ALL DAY long at school and stuff, I've gotta hand it to you, I could never do that. I wouldn't learn a dang thing. And I'd often walk much faster or slower than the rest of the world. I can't stand not walking with the tempo. Hahaha the downside of being a band kid... Anyway I just thought you all should know that. :)

Dear Boys Part 2
I feel like it's time to do it again. I've got a lot to say....
Dear Captain,
Thanks for letting me down as nicely as you possibly could. I know we are both in different places in our lives right now, but I wish it would have worked out. It's hard for me to go through this again with you. It's the fourth time we've done this. Stop breaking my heart.
Sincerely,
Wishing
Dear Boy,
Do you even remember that? Probably not. You seem to forget things quite easily. Sometimes I wonder if you ever felt anything at all. I'm sure my little sweetheart is still in there somewhere.... You are just too cocky to look for him.
This is not a game. Stop being a jerk.
Sincerely,
Girl
Dear bbff,
You make my heart so happy. I'm glad you are my best friend. You've never given up on me, ever. I know this is going to be hard. One of the hardest things I've ever done... But I know you'll help me through it. You always do.
Sincerely,
Forever Love
Dear Benched,
Hello attractive! :) You are a stud. For real. I look up to you so much. More than you could ever know... And mostly because I'm too afraid to tell you how I feel. I get the vibe you don't like me.... Ha either way, I'm always cheering you on.
Sincerely,
Your Biggest Fan
Dear Man In Charge,
Today I learned that I've got to trust you. Sometimes people make mistakes. All I ask is that instead of belittling me you try to help me feel better. I just want peace.
Sincerely,
Never Giving Up
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for this beautiful Earth. I'm so glad I get to live here. I'm sorry for not remembering to be thankful for more things. I'm starting to realize that my life is wonderful, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. So thank you.
Sincerely,
Your Daughter
Dear Daddy-o,
Thanks for the blessing. I'm glad you are a worthy man and that you love me. It makes all the difference in my life. I love you!
Sincerely,
Janester
Dear Nathan and Adam,
I'm so sorry for being so selfish. I'll make it up to you one day, I swear. I'm fixing things. I only want the best for you boys. And I'll do whatever it takes to make if happen. Please know that I'm trying. I want a happy life as much as you do. Can't wait to meet you guys. :)
Sincerely,
Hopeful
Dear Awkward,
I'm sorry I made your day so crappy. I just didn't know what to do. You need to come out of your shell and live a little! Happiness only comes to those who want it!
Sincerely,
Wants to Help
Dear Bro. Waite,
You are bald, I'm a druggie. It's fine.
Thanks for being my advisor. SemCo wouldn't be the same without you. Plus, you are the king of scripture mastery!
Sincerely,
Wants to Be Like You
Dear Flutter,
Never knew it'd come to this. But I like it. :)
Sincerely,
But Really
Dear Sandman,
You should come to my room tonight so that I'll actually SLEEP. I hate laying there awake and terrified. Please!
Sincerely,
I'll Pay You If I Have To
That's all. :)

Technology
So basically I just found out about the Blogger app.... So now I can blog from the comfort of my iPod :)
Isn't technology spiffy?! I sure think so :)
Today my really cool sister took Kaylee and I to one of those accessory party things. It. Was. Awesome. :) I literally wanted to buy everything! Chantel got me a super cute headband that I just want to wear all the time! Plus we had a yummy dinner at Fazolis and delicious ice cream at Cold Stone! :)
I have such great sisters! We always have so much fun together! We always laugh a lot and discuss life-issues... Hahaha :) I'm very thankful that my Heavenly Father blessed me with the best sisters ever! :)
I just love them so much!!
Please enjoy this picture of some bears!!

Four Eyes
Sometimes I wear glasses.
Because sometimes I think they are cute.
Sometimes I don't want to deal with my contacts.
And sometimes people say I look older in them.
So here's a tribute to my sometimes glasses
:)
*FUN FACT: they are zebra print on the inside!
4 Dates in 5 Days
Yep. You read that right.
I've been a busy girl!
hahaha :)
Date #1- Sweethearts
So Saturday was the Sweethearts Dance and it was a lot of fun! I woke up at about 8 and started cleaning and getting things ready. My to-do list was about a mile long! I managed to finish everything on it before noon which was the goal :)
Anyway at 11:50 Carter came and picked me up and we went to go get Garrett. Then we went back to Carter's to wait for Whitney to finish getting ready. After she was done we all met at Kristianna's house and headed to Subway :) I love that place. It's so delicious! Garrett and I admired the lovely bread picture on the wall and had a fun little lunch.
After that we went ice skating which turned out to be a disaster and a half... ha oh well I still had fun. Kristianna and I skated around together for a while and watched Jordan and Geoff troll people. :)
Since Garrett looked totally miserable we left and went to Wal Mart for our scavenger hunt...which we won, by the way :) We ran around like crazy kids and took pictures of all the things on the list. It was a blast! We laughed a lot and were pretty happy when we were the first ones back to McDonals :)
After the domination at Wal Mart, we all went home and got ready for the dance. I sat in my room while my stomach churned with nerves. Yes, I get so nervous for dates...especially when they are with people who are "just friends". Dates are so flippin awkward. I'd rather just hang out with a group of friends any day...but whatever. It was still fun!
I got a pretty-ified and waited for Kristianna to come pick me up. (thank goodness I have all these friends who are willing to drive. I hate having the lives of others in my hands :P ) After she got to my house we headed to Geoff's to pick him up. Arieanna looked so cute and her and Geoff looked real nice together :)
Then we went to get Jordan! When he and Kristianna came outside we all discovered that Jordan and Geoff were wearing like the exact same outfit. hahahahah. Good thing they are boys and it doesn't matter :P
After that we went to get Garrett and I had one heck of a time pinning that flower to his shirt. I got a magnetic boutonniere but they don't sit quite right so I ended up having to pin the top of it to his shirt. hahaha. His mom took pictures and we went to Natalie's house!
Kara was home from college to help with our date cause their parents were out of town at the time. She's my favorite :) She served us delicious food and we all ate and talked and laughed. It was such a good time :) I've only been out to dinner for one dance and I honestly think it's more fun to go to someones house. It's a lot quieter and you don't have to wait in lines or worry about anything. It's just super rad!
After dinner Kara took pictures for us!
Here are a couple of them :)
So after that extremely weird outing we watched the Lion King and then the day was over.
Sweethearts was lots of fun :) I'm glad I asked Garrett! He's a funny kid! Plus he's friends with all these crazy people too so we just had one big party!
Date #2- Monday Night
My sister took me to see the Vow! Holy depressing movie. I kind of hated that it was so sad! It was way different than I thought it would be but it was great none the less. We ate popcorn and Chantel cried. :) After the movie we went to Sam's Club to visit the Popcornopolis stand! (because we're obsessed or something like that.) Chantel bought me two bags and we completed the date with a trip to Wal Mart so I could get fabric for my quilt top pillow!
Date #3- Valentine's Day :)
Since Kolby is the CUTEST boy in the whole world, he came over on Valentine's day to give me the present he made! It was a tissue paper rose and it was so pretty! He had the happiest smile on his face when he gave it to me. Aw :)
Anyway we ate ice cream and watched the Jazz lose while like half of my ward came over for a service scavenger hunt! I can't tell you how awkward it is to be sluffing mutual when the Bishop comes to your house with some of the youth looking for olives and a way to help us. hahahaha. Oh well after the visit from random people Kolby and I watched the Lion King! (Yes, again. I didn't get to see all of it on Saturday and I haven't seen it since I was like 5. I really wanted to know how it ended!) Then I went to bed and Kolby went home.
Date #4- Day-After-Valentine's-Day Date
So, Kolby teaches drumline at Copper Hills on Tuesday and Thursday. And he really wanted to take me out on Valentine's day but he had to work til 6 and if we left then everywhere would be too packed and our date wouldn't be fun anyway. So we decided to go out on Wednesday instead :)
We went to Applebee's and ate mozzarella sticks! Those things are so delicious! Haha our waitress was real nice and probably thought we were like 15. We just don't look that old... hahaha. Whatever. :) So we ate our dinners and then went to his house to watch the Big Bang Theory because I love that show with all my heart and he has the first 3 seasons on DVD. :) Since I woke up at 4:50 that morning I fell asleep and went home kind of early. But it was a really great date and we laughed a lot! He's seriously my favorite person ever. I'm just so comfortable with him. I can talk to him about pretty much anything. He's already lived high school and it's nice to have some re-assurance that everything isn't the end of the world. Plus, he knows all of my friends and the people that I talk about so that makes everything easier too. :)
Overall it's been a pretty great few days! I'm really looking forward to the weekend!
Plus Josh Simpson asked me to prom last night! I'm so excited! I can't wait to go dress hunting! hahahah it'll be an adventure for sure! :)

Carter, Geoff, Jordan, Garrett, Hunter
Whitney, Arieanna, Kristianna, Kara, Natalie
:)
Carter's leg...hahaha :)
When we got to the dance we took more pictures and then had a party! I love dances :) I just jump around like an idiot because, well, that's just what you do! The music got a tad annoying after a while but it was still a lot of fun! :) I love my best friend. She's so fun to dance with cause she's just as odd as I am :) Thanks Anna, for making my night super legit!
When we got sick of being at the dance we came to my house and had some weird adventures. We ate ice cream and watched basketball and somehow ended up in my bedroom? Who knew that'd be the hit place of the night. Good thing I cleaned. Haha once we got in there I was too tired and out of it to care or think of something else to do. So Geoff, Jordan, and Carter attacked my poor stuffed animals while the rest of us sat and chatted. Here's my favorite picture of the night. :)
Again, Carter's leg. :P

Because I Can
Sometimes I just want to wear my pajamas to school.
Sometimes I just want to sleep in my locker all day and never go to class.
Sometimes I do these things simply because I can.
:)
My life is insane. I feel like I'm always busy. And exhausted.
I literally LIVE at Copper Hills.
But it's awesome. So yay :)
There are only 112 days left of my senior year. I feel so ready to graduate and just be done with high school. But at the same time I know I'll miss it. I'm getting more and more excited to go to college. I know it'll be a lot of hard work, but it's worth it.
I still have NO idea what I'm going to major in...but at least I finally made a decision as to where I'm going. :)
I can't wait to be a college kid. You know- totally broke, happy, and finally living in the real world. I can't believe I'm already this old. Time is flying so fast! I can't even keep up with it.
I'm not ready to be a grown up. Not even close.
5 more months and I'll be 18. Yep. EIGHTEEN. Yikes. I mean, I have friends who are that old...but that's not me. I'm not there yet. Or at least I feel like I shouldn't be.
Ha well I guess that means I've got a whole lot of "living it up" to do before July 5th. :)
I'm pretty stoked for this weekend. Being Sweethearts and all.
I know people are always talking down school dances. Like- "This isn't going to matter in 5 years. You are never going to look at those pictures or talk to those people ever again. It's not worth all the stress and money and whatever else...." And, I've gotta say, these things are most definitely true. I'm sure that when I'm married it won't matter who I went on all these dates with. But, it matters NOW. And high school is for dances and dating and good times. Sometimes it's okay to live in the moment and just enjoy the stage of life you are in. So go ahead, make fun of me for being excited. But I am excited. Because this is the time for such things. And even if it won't matter one day, it means a lot to me now.
Plus Garrett is cool. And I'm glad I asked him. Because it's going to be fun :)
Well, I know I've taken quite a few naps today, but I'm beat :P and it's time for bed.
So goodnight. :)
